Melee skirmishes: small bands of warriors face off in tightly choreographed contests that echo the chaotic engagements of medieval battlefields.

Siege tactics: participants employ strategies to overcome or defend a mock castle, a true test of teamwork and martial acumen.

For the champion who prevails above all others in this grand contest, a prize of £250 awaits, a tribute to their unmatched valor and skill demonstrated in the day’s challenges.

Mandatory protective gear for all combatants.

Blunted weapons and soft-tipped arrows ensure the thrill of combat without the peril.

Marshals oversee the field, ensuring the codes of conduct and safety are upheld.
